The Role?The EIMEA Tax Manager is responsible for all operations related to direct taxation (corporate income tax) for the EIMEA region. The EIMEA Tax Manager has one direct report located in Mindelo, Portugal.

What will YOU do?- Lead all matters related to corporate income tax (CIT) for the EIMEA region
- Manage the timely submission of CIT returns and corresponding tax-related journal entries in collaboration with chief accountants and local tax advisors
- Lead EIMEA quarterly and annual provision processes and ensure proper reporting, including maintenance, training, and completion of tax questionnaire (TQ) excel workbooks
- Lead multiple tax audits in EIMEA countries in collaboration with local tax advisors
- Support USGAAP and statutory audits
- Support projects for legal structure simplification and optimal country presence
- Lead integration of newly acquired entities onto HB Fuller income tax calendar and processes
- Comply with Internal Controls and SOX requirements;
- Bachelor’s or University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field
- 6+ years of income tax experience in either a corporate or public accounting setting or a combination of both.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proven project management skills
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to travel
Preferred Requirements
- Advanced degree in taxation is highly desirable (not required)
- Big 4 experience
- US GAAP knowledge and experience
