Job Description – Junior Project Engineer (Mechanical)
Assist the Project Manager/Mechanical Lead in execution and coordination of mechanical works at project sites.
- Support supervision of equipment installation, piping, HVAC, utility systems, firefighting and other mechanical services, as applicable.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for site activities, inspections, material deliveries and work-front availability.
- Assist in reviewing mechanical drawings, layouts, specifications and shop drawings.
- Monitor daily progress and support preparation of DPRs, progress reports and project documentation.
- Assist in quality inspections, testing & commissioning activities and closure of punch points.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, architectural and other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements and HSE procedures.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Fresh B.E./B.Tech./Diploma graduates in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and construction/project execution.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel and AutoCAD will be preferred.
- Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites across Gujarat.
- Strong learning attitude and willingness to build a career in project management/construction.
- Candidates with internship/site exposure will be preferred
