Position Overview

This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and operational objectives while supporting a safe and sustainable workplace. The position is highly visible and involves regular engagement with employees and leaders throughout the facility to implement, maintain, and continuously improve EHSS&S programs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain EHSS&S programs to meet regulatory and company requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing areas and identify corrective actions.
  • Partner with plant leadership and employees to promote safe work practices.
  • Lead incident, injury, and near-miss investigations and track corrective actions.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programs.
  • Manage environmental permits, compliance reporting, and recordkeeping activities.
  • Support Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, risk assessments, and audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance safety, compliance, and operational performance.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, PSM, RMP, NFPA, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Experience conducting audits, investigations, hazard assessments, and employee training.
  • Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Requirements
  • ASP, CSP, CHMM, CIH, or related professional certification.
  • Experience supporting PSM-regulated operations and Process Hazard Analyses (PHA/HAZOP).
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading compliance or safety initiatives.
  • Experience with industrial hygiene programs, exposure assessments, and chemical management systems.
