The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and or an equivalent of five (5) years of experience in Industrial and Construction projects within the regulated industry. 
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English). 
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills. 
  • Shift: First (Monday-Friday) & according to business needs. 
  • 30hrs. OSHA Certification (General Industry or Construction)
  • Experience in:
    • Contractors Programs 
    • Machine Safety - Manufacturing Processes
    • Daily Permit 
    • Reporting 
    • JHA
    • Toolbox meetings

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Provide program level governance support to a variety of Project leaders of management reviews, monitoring of manufacturing activities, developing and presenting performance metrics, developing and delivering safety presentations.
  • Proactively engage with Project Directors to forecast programmatic and project level safety risks and work with teams to address emerging risks.
  • Assure complies with the national statutory health and safety requirements.
  • Where practicable, implement best practice, and lessons learned, across each project.
  • Assure that all contractors are implementing our strategy and safe working practices on site.
  • Monitors leading and lagging indicators and escalates.
    Support incident investigations.
  • Assist and monitor the development and completion of corrective actions.
    Identify and implements safety initiatives.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent five (5) years' experience in industrial and construction projects within regulated industry
  • Bilingual Spanish and English
  • 30-hour OSHA Certification (General Industry or Construction)
  • Experience with contractors programs
  • Experience in machine safety and manufacturing processes
  • Experience managing daily permits
  • Experience with reporting and monitoring metrics
  • Experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHA)
  • Experience running toolbox meetings and safety presentations
  • Knowledge of national statutory health and safety requirements and regulatory compliance
  • First shift availability (Monday–Friday) and flexibility to meet business needs
