EHS - Site Safety Coordinator

Schedule: M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour
Location: Boise, ID
Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform EHS audits, inspections, and safety management at customer sites to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
• Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, collaborating with supervisors and management to ensure resolution.
• Deliver EHS training and presentations to employees and stakeholders, promoting safety awareness and reducing workplace risks.
• Communicate EHS performance metrics and updates during regular customer meetings, serving as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working in a safety role, FSE or Equipment Technician  
• Manufacturing/Lab/Plant/Cleanroom safety experience (walking around a facility in a pressure-controlled environment).
• OSHA Safety Certifications / Safety Classes / COHE/LOTO.
• Experience creating safety reports and presenting.
• Working with or experience in handling hazardous materials.
• Associate's degree in electronics, engineering, or other related field of study preferred, or Military Equivalent.

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
