Core responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the site align with all health and safety regulations defined by law and company internal procedures. You will propose and drive initiatives to keep high level of safety within production premises as well as participate on safety enhancements projects.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace
  • Working closely with internal collaborators on chemical management, fire protection and ergonomics on the shopfloor
  • Supporting accident investigations and collaborate with engineers, management, and H&S regulatory authorities to determine root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence
  • Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards
  • Maintaining and analyzing records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies
  • Keeping and maintaining IMS system ( ISO 45001, ISO 14001)

This role is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation support provided for this position.

Our EHS department ensures a safe and healthy work environment by implementing safety protocols, monitoring compliance with health and environmental regulations, and conducting regular risk assessments. We aim to prevent workplace accidents, minimize environmental impact, and provide training to employees on safety practices.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A strong track record in EHS processes within a manufacturing environment is a must
  • Knowledge of legislation for ergonomics in the production would be a big plus, as well as fire protection experience
  • OZO certification would be an advantage as well as knowledge of relevant ISO standards
  • General knowledge of Labour related legislation
  • Strong professional leadership with personal drive, initiative, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate, build trust, and engage effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • A solid business understanding, along with proactive planning and foresight, is essential
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Czech and English
