About the Role:
This role is essential for safeguarding the health and safety of our employees and ensuring adherence to local and global safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations, developing safety protocols, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance & Safety Programs: Ensure compliance with legislative and corporate safety requirements by implementing occupational safety plans and programs tailored to local risks and company standards.

  • Training & Documentation: Conduct introductory safety briefings, develop safety procedures, and organize safety training sessions. Prepare and maintain internal safety documents, regulations, and training schedules.

  • EHS Strategy Implementation: Contribute to and execute local EHS strategies. Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance on safety issues such as fire prevention and ergonomics.

  • Risk Assessment & Incident Investigation: Manage EHS risks using tools like risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits. Interpret data to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Fire Safety Management: Develop and implement fire safety protocols in compliance with local laws. Conduct fire risk assessments, organize drills, and ensure the effectiveness of fire protection systems and equipment.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to sustain an EHS management system that aligns with the Internal Control Framework (ICF). Provide guidance and support to management and project teams.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Monitor compliance with fire safety legislation and report on safety incidents. Assist in the investigation of incidents and recommend measures to prevent future occurrences.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Higher technical education or certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in fire safety, civil protection, or technological safety, preferably in a multinational environment.

  • Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of occupational safety processes and legal standards.

    • English language proficiency at pre-intermediate level or higher; Ukrainian fluency is required.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant safety software.
