Here’s the Gist:
Wolfspeed is seeking a dedicated Corporate Health and Safety Professional to help us Protect the Pack by ensuring a safe and compliant workplace. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and programs, fostering a culture of EHS excellence across the organization.
The Day-to-Day:
Develops, implements, and monitors company safety & industrial hygiene programs and standards to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
Provides safety & IH technical support to site EHS teams in order to solve complex problems.
Interacts with a variety of departments and business units in order to effectively manage and implement projects and initiatives related to safety and industrial hygiene.
Monitors emerging compliance changes related to occupational safety and health and evaluates the impact of those changes on the company.
Leads the EHS training strategy for the company, ensuring effective implementation of training courses and business processes through partnership with cross-functional teams.
Recommends corrective action where health and safety hazards exist.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
CIH and/or CSP certification is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial hygiene or safety role, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
