Job Summary
The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator 1 will provide administrative support to the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability team and program. The role will focus on data integrity as well as tactical execution of EHS initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities
Metric Management: Maintain and update safety metrics in Google Sheets, ensuring 100% accuracy in incident reporting and data entry for ESG initiatives.
Administrative Coordination: Schedule injury investigation meetings, document findings, and manage confidential safety and Human Resources records with strict discretion.
Vendor & Audit Support: Serve as the primary contact for safety vendors (waste management, personal protective equipment (PPE), training); troubleshoot access issues and track 3rd-party audit progress.
Reporting: Prepare visual presentations, including graphs and charts, using Google Slides and Sheets to illustrate safety trends for leadership.
Permit & Compliance Tracking: Manage the lifecycle of permit applications, including filing deadlines and arranging payments via Workday.
Manage Payments & Processing of Permits and EHS Applications.
Regulatory Liaison: Act as a junior liaison for government agencies, assisting in the documentation needed to close open citations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Proficiency in Google Workspace/Excel
OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field or relevant work experience in a manufacturing or vehicle repair environment
Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.
Occasional travel to other states up to 25% of time

Compensation Details:
Expected Pay Range:
$55,000 - $65,000 / Year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
