Why this role matters:
As an EHS Specialist, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environment, Health & Safety programs across our site in Valencia. You’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our people safe, our operations compliant, and our safety culture strong. Operating as a standalone position within the Valencia facility, you will have strong cooperation with local leadership and global EHS management.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
Ensure facility compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations
Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments in accordance with global practices
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up on corrective/preventive actions
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels
Maintain and test emergency response plans and procedures
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Solid working knowledge of Spanish EHS legislation and regulatory frameworks
Proficient in EHS management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) and data reporting tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (experience in 5-Why, fishbone, or other RCA methodologies)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Nice to haves:
Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies
Experience working with contractors and managing permit-to-work systems

Base salary range for this position is [xxxx–xxxx local currency] per month (gross), dependant on experience, and will be negotiated individually.
