Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Environmental, Health & Safety
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Coordinate employee safety training, orientation, and certification records.
- Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses and assist with corrective actions.
- Maintain OSHA records, training documentation, and safety reports.
- Support and participate in Safety Committee meetings and activities.
- Monitor compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Assist supervisors with hazard identification and risk reduction efforts.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory records.
- Support emergency response, environmental compliance, and regulatory inspections.
- Promote employee involvement and continuous improvement in safety performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, safety, or industrial operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety principles preferred.
- Ability to obtain required safety certifications and training.
