Position Summary:
The EHS & AP Coordinator is a hybrid role responsible for the ISO, Safety and Accounts Payable functions for Heibar Tn. The EHS & AP Coordinator will implement and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations while coordinating required training for the ISO and Safety programs. This position is also responsible for assisting with duties related to accounts payable and certain administrative job duties.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to develop Environmental and Safety procedures.
- Conduct and schedule ISO and Safety Committee Meetings.
- Track safety & ISO data.
- Place data into graphs to show safety trends related to ISO objectives and targets.
- Create and update ISO and Safety communication boards.
- Schedule, track and conduct Safety and Environmental trainings as needed.
- Work with EMS teams to develop preventative actions and maintain continuous improvement logs.
- Conduct Hazard Walks and other safety related audits.
- Schedule and participate with EHS Manager to conduct internal safety audits.
- Participate in Safety Management Reviews and third-party audits.
- Maintain environmental compliance tracking sheet and filing system.
- Inspect all fire extinguishers monthly.
- Print, match and code invoices.
- Submit for packet payment.
- Regularly check Oracle for payments & late bills.
- Inspect & review weekly expense reports.
- Monthly statements verification – call on anything outstanding.
- Comdata bill review, code & submit for payment.
- Forward incorrect bills to appropriate location(s).
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- General knowledge of safety requirements in manufacturing setting preferred.
- Prior administrative experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to identify and resolve errors related to invoicing.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
