POSITION SUMMARY:
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Analyst will provide support to create policies that eliminate workplace hazards, document accidents in the workplace, and investigate the circumstances of an illness or injury, ensuring compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations that impact the organization. This position is a bilingual (English / Korean) role and will collaborate with relevant teams and headquarters to ensure strategic business objectives are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs investigation and reporting on safety-related accidents and incidents
- Analyzes and supports development of corrective action plans, ergonomics recommendation and training to minimize workplace injuries
- Provides required training, drills, recordkeeping, and documentation for OSHA compliance to workplace safety maintaining OSHA logs in accordance with state and federal laws
- Supports the maintenance of EHS database of accidents and incidents
- Reports and communicates safety issues and abatement plans to upper management
- Performs any other related work and task as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field
- one year of related experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and policies
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical and Business Travel requirements
- Ability to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at a time
- No restrictions on business travel
