Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Coordinator
Hours 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday
The EHS Coordinator will play a vital role in promoting workplace safety and ensuring that all employees are aware of and follow safety policies and procedures. in promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. They are responsible for the overall effectiveness and the health and safety program and must be detail oriented and knowledge about health and safety regulations. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections: Regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining documentation: Keeping detailed records of safety policies, procedures, and incidents including training records.
- Coordinating training: Organizing and overseeing safety training sessions for employees.
- Managing safety records: Ensuring that all safety-related documents and reports are accurate and up to date.
- Collaborating with teams: Working closely with EHS Manager and the safety committee team (along with Plant Leadership) to implement safety measures.
Essential Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least two years related experience required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
- Certification such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, or First Aid/CPR is a plus.
