Purpose of Role :
Stamford based eFX Sales as part of the Cross Product Sales & Development team. Supports the NatWest Markets strategy of growing our electronic delivery of the Foreign Exchange product suite.
Responsibilities

Member of the eFX Sales and Cross Product Sales and Development team dedicated to the growth of our Electronic footprint focusing on ‘e-only’ clients and acting as electronic specialists for high priority accounts.

Undertake strategic business related projects to assist in the analysis and development of the Markets business.

Work closely with Product owners to manage the delivery of our suite of products to Corps & Financial Institutions in the US.

Actively seek learning opportunities to improve cross-product knowledge and sales skills, and to leverage advancements in one product/asset across to others.

Work as part of a team managing Electronic vendor relationships.

Analysis of flows, activity trends and ECN performance using all available data and tools.

Work with Trading to ensure that the profitability of e-relationships is optimised.

Instil and maintain a robust risk control environment

Timely follow up of trade queries to minimise the risk of errors

Promptly escalate all issues at time of discovery and in line with policy.

Attend client meetings (inside and outside the office) for periodic reviews and to promote the NatWest electronic product suite.

Ensure that activities are within guidelines and policies, covering (but not exclusive to) market, operational, credit, conduct and regulatory risks.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Member of the eFX Sales Business, a portfolio of client relationships. The successful candidate will be required to establish close working relationships globally across the Currencies, Sales & Trading business lines as well as maintain similar relationship with our business partners in Operations, Credit, CEM, Legal, Risk, Finance, Relationship Managers and other product areas. The candidate will assist in the strategic development of the electronic business. Additionally this individual must be:

Self starter with a strong team ethic, a passion to perform and ability to work under pressure. Is methodical in terms of work process and organisation.

A natural communicator who has had prior Sales experience.

Experience in a directly related activity within eFX involving the management of direct electronic relationships via API and GUI platforms.

Broader exposure to the wider Financial Markets product suite (front line experience, buy or sell side) would be an advantage.

Strong analytics and numerical skills

Desirable - demonstrable understanding of the Regulatory environment affecting the Currencies business. Sales management experience.

FCA registration (NatWest will support you through the qualifications if necessary)
The expected base annual salary range for this position is $220,000-$240,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation. The exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location.
