The EEG Technologist conducts testing in the outpatient, inpatient hospital or operating room environment, documents results and reports findings to designated physicians.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Primarily responsible for performing polysomnography recordings on all age groups.
- Prep and attach electrodes and other measuring devices.
- Calibrate computers and other measuring devices.
- Obtain an error and artifact free PSG under the guidance of a RPSGT.
- Perform a Multiple Sleep Latency Test and Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing, under the guidance of a RPSGT.
- Score a PSG, MSLT, and MWT, under the guidance of a RPSGT
Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma/GED
- Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association
- Preferred 1 year healthcare experience
