JOB SUMMARY
Kennedy Catholic is seeking a dynamic, self-directed educator to teach a full-time combination of Spanish classes within the World Languages Department. Key responsibilities include instruction and curriculum development, assessment, classroom management and parent communication; collaboration with colleagues to ensure quality and consistency of overall program; willing participation in the co-curricular and ministerial life of the school; mentorship for student engagement; and fulfillment of all additional supervision duties expected of full-time teachers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in the specific content area (ex. Spanish)

WA State Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one

Master’s degree preferred

Familiarity with educational technology

Recent classroom experience, preferably in a high school setting
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Create and implement authentic assessments (formative and summative) appropriate to the health and physical education courses assigned

Meet individual student needs in the development of department goals and restructuring of the curriculum

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. Salary is dependent upon experience, certification, and education according to Kennedy Catholic’s faculty compensation schedule. For the 2026-2027 school year, a teacher’s salary ranges between $59,320 and $112,590.
