Job Description

Project Description

The Equipping Secondary Educators Program Partnership is a sub-activity of the $125 Million Belize Compact, funded by the Millenium Challenge Corporation which aims to address two binding constraints to economic growth and poverty reduction in Belize: (1) low-quality education and (2) high electricity costs. This $23 million Education sub-activity is launched by the Government of Belize, acting through the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA-Belize).

The objective of this Education project is to “equitably increase the number of post-primary graduates with the competencies relevant to labor market demand”, responding to the root cause of low quality of education that has led to a shortage of trained professionals in all industries.
