Leads EDC’s enterprise technology platforms, engineering, data architecture, analytics, and technology operations. The VP establishes platform and data strategies, modernizes business systems, guides software engineering and DevOps practices, operationalizes digital solutions, and advances AI-enabled organizational transformation. This executive leads multidisciplinary teams, improves reliability and service delivery, strengthens data accessibility and governance, automates workflows, and partners with business leaders to align technology investments with organizational priorities.

Leads EDC’s long-term AI innovation strategy by identifying, validating, and scaling AI-native products, services, platforms, and business models. Builds a venture-style portfolio, defines market and revenue models, partners with engineering, product, business development, funders, and executives, and leads a multidisciplinary team. The role is responsible for developing scalable offerings, creating new revenue streams, strengthening AI-enabled impact, and positioning EDC as an innovation leader.

Provides technical assistance and professional development to Rhode Island Pre-K classrooms and programs. Builds relationships with program staff, facilitates training, analyzes quality data, supports quality improvement planning, and assists with grant deliverables. The role requires regular in-person site visits, stakeholder collaboration, and knowledge of Rhode Island early childhood education systems.

Administers employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, disability, and flexible spending plans. Handles employee inquiries, enrollment, life-cycle transactions, HRIS updates, audits, vendor coordination, leave administration, COBRA, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and compliance reporting. Supports open enrollment, plan renewals, HR initiatives, and process improvements while maintaining confidential and accurate records.

Provides coaching, consultation, professional development, and technical assistance to Rhode Island early childhood programs. Develops research-based training materials on early childhood development, social-emotional learning, infant mental health, trauma-informed care, administration, and leadership. Facilitates adult and web-based learning, strengthens client relationships, and applies knowledge of Rhode Island childcare systems. Requires daily travel to sites throughout Rhode Island and bilingual English-Spanish communication.

Lead gender and social inclusion analysis for Somalia's National Teacher Professional Development Plan. Identify barriers to teacher participation, design inclusive CPD delivery models for low-resource and conflict-affected contexts, integrate gender-responsive policies and monitoring, support stakeholder consultations, and contribute practical, context-sensitive recommendations, tools, and sex-disaggregated indicators to ensure inclusive implementation and quality assurance.

Lead design of EMIS, data systems, and digital learning components for the national Teacher Professional Development Plan. Define CPD tracking fields, National Teacher Registry architecture, offline-capable and blended delivery models, mobile data portals, and radio-based CPD adaptations. Ensure interoperability with M&E indicators, produce functional specifications, and contribute written recommendations for an implementation-ready national plan suited to low-bandwidth, dispersed contexts.
