Overview:
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is hiring an Education Specialist to join our team.
In this role you will perform a variety of computer and education project development and management tasks to meet the needs of the education services to the facility. You will be responsible for classroom and clinical instruction of students to include but not limited to developing and providing classroom and clinical learning experiences, teaching, coaching, and mentoring on the clinical unit, tutoring of and practicing with students and evaluating student performance. You may also collaborate with accredited educational institutions to coordinate the placement of students within the organization.
You will be working with nursing professional development practitioners, diabetes educators, safety partners, and administrative associates.
