This is the first hire on the ground to project manage major education projects with a particular focus in the public sector and education institutions. As part of the EMEA Team, you will help large institutions advance their strategic educational objectives by improving students’ intercultural communication and language skills. 

In this role, your day-to-day work will vary greatly, enabling you to serve as a consultant, project manager, change-maker, data analyst, internal and external implementation specialist, among other capacities. More broadly, you will play a vital role in our wider organization and in your local team, as you will be responsible for the delivery and success of our projects in your assigned territory.  

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and implement learning programs that involve thousands of learners, building and maintaining client loyalty, satisfaction and success.
  • Work closely with current or potential clients to define clear KPIs, success criteria, and deliverables, identifying actions for continuous improvement in their learning outcomes.
  • Report to clients on the success of learning programs in order to drive results, achieve renewals and assist in growing the accounts, regularly monitoring learning KPIs and account plans to ensure timely renewals.
  • Foresee and react to problems rapidly with creative solutions.
  • Contribute to best practices for all other team members to ensure successful design and delivery of language training.
  • Provide project management skills and advice to Sales teams during tenders and negotiations.
  • Be available to travel about 30-50% of the time to visit clients in location.
  • As a new role, responsibilities will evolve over time as the business grows.

The skills & experience we look for

You will be a highly organized, tech-savvy and customer-driven program manager who has can deliver on promises (and hit KPIs) for training programs and find the stories behind the data to create trusted long-term client partnerships.

Ideal Background: 

  • Experience working in K-12 education, particularly in the public sector, is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills. 
  • Fluent Turkish and excellent English
  • Strong relational skills, influencing skills and presence.
  • Strong project management 
  • A Bachelor or master’s degree in education, public policy / management, international relations, economics, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Confident with technology platforms e.g. Salesforce
