· We are seeking an Education Administration Officer to join our dynamic and collaborative team, providing essential administrative and operational support for the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program across the Western Sydney (Baludarri) Health Precinct.

· Base Salary starting at $93,345 + 17% Superannuation

 

About the opportunity

The Faculty of Medicine and Health is looking for an Education Administration Officer to provide a broad range of administrative and operational support to academic and teaching staff in the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.

 

Working as part of the Westmead Clinical School team, you will support the effective coordination of teaching and learning activities, ensuring academic staff and students have access to the information, resources and administrative support required for a positive educational experience.

 

This position requires you to be onsite a minimum of four days per week. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered in consultation with your manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • provide administrative and operational support to academic and teaching staff across the MD program.

  • support the coordination of teaching activities, including timetabling, room bookings, teaching resources and other logistical requirements.

  • assist with the preparation, coordination and distribution of academic content and teaching materials, including uploading information to Canvas and other online systems.

  • liaise with academic staff, professional staff, clinicians and other stakeholders to support the smooth delivery of teaching and learning activities.

  • support the administration of assessments, examinations and other education-related activities.

  • maintain accurate education and student information and support relevant reporting and administrative processes.

  • provide timely and professional responses to enquiries from academic staff, students and other stakeholders.

  • support accreditation and compliance requirements for relevant programs of study.

  • contribute to the review and improvement of administrative processes, systems and workflows to improve efficiency and the experience of staff and students.

  • ensure relevant University policies, procedures and legislative requirements are followed and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

  • excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.

  • demonstrate initiative and sound judgement when managing day-to-day administrative matters and resolving issues.

  • strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with academic, professional and clinical stakeholders.

  • ability to work on multiple systems and digital platforms, with strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn and use new systems effectively.

  • strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and information.
