We are seeking rising college seniors who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree to join an exciting 10-week summer internship experience starting June 9th, 2025. As an early career professional, you will be part of a paid internship program that will include a robust learning and training curriculum, mentorship from employees in your selected field, access to senior leaders, and more. As an intern, you will be assigned challenging projects based on the area of the business you will be supporting. In your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute and make a real impact. 

Candidates must be:

• Rising senior graduating in 2026 

• Ability to work out of our 1 WTC office on a hybrid basis (4x a week on site) 

• Available June 9, 2024 - August 18, 2025

Editorial Intern, Allure & SELF

Job Description:

The Editorial intern will be a vital member of the Allure and Self team, supporting various editors and departments. This person will have a dive-right-in mindset and will be equally as excited to conduct an interview or take on a trending news writing shift, as they are to assist with key behind-the-scenes tasks such as research, homepage updates, building galleries, refreshing old content, and learning every facet of Copilot, our proprietary content management system (CMS). 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist editorial staff with a wide array of day-to-day tasks including building articles and galleries in our CMS

• Proactively pitch story ideas that fit into each of our content verticals 

• Be open to assignments that range from trending news pieces and SEO galleries to short interviews and captions 

• Build shopping products for use in commerce stories

• Attend and participate in staff meetings, including editorial brainstorms 

• Assist with administrative needs for Best of Beauty and Pantry Awards 

• Assist with sourcing stories and other types of research 

• Assist senior staff on select special projects, packages, and tentpole editorial events 

• Test products and take testing photos for Allure and SELF commerce content

• Assist photo and video teams on production needs for shoots 

The ideal candidate will:

• Be highly organized and proactive

• Be enthusiastic about learning various facets of the business

• Be open to feedback and use it to your advantage 

• Have a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset

• Possess strong writing and interpersonal communication skills

• Be up to date on culture, fashion/beauty/wellness, entertainment, and social media trends—i.e., always know what people are talking about right now 

• Bring a fresh perspective to content and special projects 

• Understand the basics of SEO and analytics, or have a deep willingness to learn 

Hourly Pay: $25/hr
