As a member of the enterprise marketing team, you will partner with marketers, product specialists and thought leaders to develop an editorial calendar that brings to market the depth and breath of our intellectual capital, closely aligned with our business, brand and marketing goals. You will drive strategy and execution across each step of content creation, from ideation to launch. You will influence our voice & points of view, bring rigor in our thinking, partner with design teams on enabling the right and content formats (articles, white paper, blogs, infographics, videos, and podcast), and oversee execution, all to ensure the content is relevant, differentiated, and high performing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic direction and tactical execution of a holistic, global content strategy and editorial plan.
  • Work with Marketing leadership team and internal Editorial Board to develop content strategy and editorial plan that aligns with company and marketing objectives.
  • Create a connection with our target market through powerful and meaningful content that people want to interact with, provides valuable insights, and encourages action. 
  • Partner with campaign leads and digital team to strategically integrate content into campaigns and initiatives, to provide deeper storytelling and build brand experiences.
  • Act as both thought partner and editor, working with internal teams and writers to brainstorm new content ideas, develop strong storylines, produce compelling drafts and create publishing strategies.
  • Manage all internal and external content resources, agencies, and freelancers from briefing through final production. Develop strong pool of “go to” writing resources.
  • Leverage SEO, performance data, client feedback and market trends to improve content quality and outcomes  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a diverse mix of teams, balancing the needs of key stakeholders with creative excellence and innovation.
  • Create set of Key Performance Indicators to measure success of and engagement with content.
  • Stay current on solution developments, market trends and competitors, and have an appreciation of audience engagement practices and digital analytics.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent writer and editor - Top-notch writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio showing multi-channel campaigns and experience across all digital media. Strong editorial judgment; ability to rapidly absorb complex ideas and distill them into accessible copy for global audiences
  • Organizational skills - Exceptional organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, manage complex processes, and meet both short-term and long-term deadlines 
  • Communications/presentation skills – communicates effectively across organizational levels and with different constituencies.
  • Change management/agility – drives change and displays a spirit of continuous improvement; models agility and adaptiveness to changing environment.
  • Influence - Ability to confidently and tactfully engage with senior staff and subject-matter experts; skill at achieving consensus and moving projects forward.
  • Client Focus – brings strong client-centric approach to product marketing with deep understanding of client needs.
  • Emotional intelligence – models for team and displays awareness, empathy, acuity.
  • Teamwork/collaboration – fosters and models collaboration across teams and the broader organization; thinks strategically but can also “roll up your sleeves” to do the work as needed.
  • Global mindset – experience and/or comfort working in global organization with understanding of local market / regional nuances and opportunities
  • Familiarity with financial markets.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in finance business writing and editing, including digital publishing, preferably for a publication, media company, professional services firm, content agency, or in an editorial role at a brand.
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Business or Communications.

Salary range $180,000.00- $195,000.00 USD . Bonus Eligible.
