The Role

At Spotify, our vision is to provide the perfect recommendations for every moment. We've already connected millions of people to their favorite songs and podcasts, and created a service that people use to discover and share the content they love.

We are now growing our world-class Audiobook editorial team, looking for individuals who can connect amazing stories with the just right moods, moments and genres to listeners who will love them.

  • Use research, cultural insights, and data analytics to continually enhance the editorial lens for our audiobooks platform.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with wider Spotify teams — including growth, marketing, PR, product, engineering, and operations — to highlight and champion audiobooks.

  • Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends.

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years of experience editing, curating, or merchandising content at a digital-first platform, a publishing house, or a major books retailer.

  • Fluency in Italian and Spanish and strong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with global teams; proficiency in Portuguese or other Southern European languages is a plus.

  • A growing understanding of the Southern European publishing landscape and a passion for connecting listeners with great content.

  • An ability to balance commercial recommendations with diverse, representative programming.

  • A keen sense of what makes titles appropriate for different situations, and an ability to quickly identify authors, series, and titles to recommend.

  • Comfort using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform editorial decisions.

  • Experience building and implementing diverse recommendations that reflect a broad range of cultures, people, and perspectives.

  • A passion for the evolution of audio and enthusiasm for spoken word content.

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
