Job Description
This position resides on the EDI Application Tech team which provides second-level support for EDI's clients and call center as well and scripting claim data transformations via a proprietary scripting language to ensure claims meet all payer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Script medical billing converts and edits via proprietary scripting language in order to ensure claims meet all payer requirements.
- Provide second-level software support for EDI clients and staff.
- Research network issues, program errors, and Windows errors relating to Xpeditor Server performance.
- Assist with the testing of Xpeditor enhancements and bug fixes that are part of Xpeditor releases.
- Map client claim files in order to load into Xpeditor.
- Establish custom edits/converts using Xpressbiller software.
- Modify Xpeditor Reports per client requests.
- Assist with identifying product shortcomings and possible enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Experience providing technical support in a professional environment required.
- Must have experience using a ticketing system - ServiceNow a plus.
- Experience with some sort of scripting language preferred
- Knowledge of EDI a plus
- Problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail – working with clients and internal departments
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
