Responsible for supporting electronic data exchange (EDI) clients to facilitate their billing and revenue collection.
Responsibilities
• Verify accuracy of billing data
• Research and revise errors in claims processes.
• Interact with stakeholders, payers and clients to answer questions, obtain information, and resolve issues.
• Monitor clearinghouse reports and take such steps necessary to guarantee payment of claims.
• Coordinate and collect necessary information from stakeholders and payers for claim adjudication.
• Recognize problem accounts and notify others to assist in resolution.
• Advise supervisor of insurance changes or trends
• Expectations for regular interactions with clients via zoom calls.
Qualifications
Required
-
High school diploma or GED
-
At least 2 years of experience with billing software and/or experience billing from an Electronic Health Record System
-
The ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

The ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Outstanding computer skills to include ability to work with .txt files and strong user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Outstanding attention to detail
