      Job Description

      As Global Sales Solutions, we ensure that Continental operates efficiently within an ERP-related system environment that fully supports the execution of all essential business operations. SAP serves as our standard ERP system and is used to manage all commercial processes. Through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), we connect our ERP system with customers, vendors, and partners worldwide. Within Global Sales Solutions, we place a strong focus on customer integration to enable a fully integrated, end-to-end Order-to-Cash process on a global scale.

      We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Central Key User (CKU) for our Tire Solution Center in Lousado, Portugal. As a crucial member of our CKU team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our sales-focused EDI connections, ensuring seamless operations and supporting business processes in our Tire industry. Together with your colleagues, you will drive the strategic development of EDI capabilities ensuring that all necessary initiatives related to support, development, marketing, and training are effectively implemented globally.

      Key responsibilities:

      • Maintaining and developing the electronic "Order-To-Cash" business processes in conjunction with strategic and operational requirements globally and in respect to EDI standards;
      • Define the global EDI Standard and its allowed exceptions and customer individual setups;
      • Creating, evaluating, coordinating, prioritizing and approving demands and hand them over to IT for the development;
      • Participating in IT and business projects as EDI CKU representing Continental EDI globally;
      • Coordinating projects and demands with the business representatives, the IT, the Local Key Users and the CKUs of the different SAP modules;
      • Coordination of internal and external partners during the development;
      • Second line of support for technical and process related issues around the EDI supported processes;
      • Planning and executing trainings and workshops;
      • Creating process documentation for LKUs and End users;
      • Contribution to and execution of the global EDI Strategy;
      • Drive the ongoing development of the implemented system standards;
      • Define and implement KPIs to measure the general progress of the EDI as a product and its efficiency and effectiveness.

       

      Qualifications

      • Academic degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field;
      • 3+ years of professional experience in sales, sales-related, or sales-supporting functions;
      • In-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) process;
      • Expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions;
      • Proven experience as a Key User in relevant systems or processes;
      • Solid background in sales-related business domain;
      • Comprehensive project management experience;
      • High intercultural competence and a strong track record of effective international collaboration;
      • Proficiency in English (written and spoken);
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and solution-oriented mindset;
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels;
      • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10 %).
