The PositionDeveloping software is great, but developing software with a purpose is even better! As an Edge Software Engineer, you’ll work on a platform that is foundational to a new ecosystem to help people with the most precious thing they have — their health.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Senior Software Engineer who will work closely with their colleagues, and who ideally has built digital products and platforms. As a code-magician, you will support our efforts to improve the digital health ecosystem. You will contribute with your knowledge of Java, Go and Kubernetes within our agile cross-functional teams.

Who you are :
You hold a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or directly related discipline with 4+ years of hands-on industry experience as a software engineer (java and go preferred)
You have also 2+ years experience in contemporary platforms extended from cloud (e.g: docker Kubernetes, helm charts, Kustomize). You have successfully built, deployed, and supported enterprise-scale applications in the edge and/or in a multi-instance cloud.
You are a quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows and develop and validate innovative solutions to solve difficult problems
You enjoy developing clean, stable, testable, and performant backend code, serving our beautiful applications and you are passionate about solid technical design, clean code, and future-proof architectures
You have great written and verbal communication in English
Bonus skills:
Secure infrastructure as code provisioning experience and cloud knowledge
Knowledge of Infra as Code, Terraform and Github Actions
Experience with OpenID Connect standard and Keycloak or other open source software product that allows single sign-on with identity and access management
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud providers
Experience in healthcare is not required, but familiarity with data standards and workflows is a plus (e.g. HL7, IHE)
