As the EDD Process Owner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and development of Enhanced Due Diligence processes across the organization. You will ensure that EDD requirements, procedures, risk scoring frameworks, and related controls remain compliant with regulatory expectations while supporting efficient and consistent operations.

Working closely with Compliance, IT, CRM, and business stakeholders, you will drive process improvements, oversee the closure of identified gaps, support system enhancements, provide management reporting, and promote knowledge sharing to strengthen the organization's financial crime prevention framework.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) process, ensuring it is clear, efficient, compliant, and aligned across the Baltics

  • Develop, maintain, and update EDD procedures, instructions, requirements, and process documentation in line with regulatory expectations and business needs

  • Drive the closure of identified gaps in the EDD area and initiate improvements to strengthen process quality, efficiency, and consistency

  • Provide input into EDD-related risk scoring requirements and support the development of new or improved processes, systems, and tools

  • Work closely with EDD operational teams by supporting complex cases, reviewing quality, sharing feedback, and helping ensure high standards in daily work

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, CRM, IT, Sales, and other business areas to make sure EDD requirements are understood and properly implemented

  • Monitor EDD quality, identify improvement areas, and turn insights into practical actions that support continuous improvement

  • Prepare and provide regular reporting to management bodies on key EDD topics, risks, progress, and process developments

  • Support knowledge sharing by providing guidance, training, and updates to relevant stakeholders on EDD requirements and process changes

  • You have experience in KYC, EDD, AML/CFT, sanctions, financial crime prevention, or a similar regulatory area

  • You understand how regulated processes work and can translate requirements into clear procedures, improvements, and ways of working

  • You have strong process management skills and enjoy improving efficiency, quality, and consistency

  • You are comfortable working with complex topics, taking ownership, and driving things forward independently

  • You communicate clearly and can work with different stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, IT, Sales, and other business areas

  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level

Skills Required

  • Experience in KYC, EDD, AML/CFT, sanctions, or financial crime prevention
  • Strong process management and continuous improvement skills
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear procedures and controls
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration (Compliance, IT, CRM, Sales)
  • Fluent English in spoken and written communication
  • Experience supporting system enhancements and working with CRM/IT systems
  • Experience preparing management reporting and monitoring quality metrics
  • Experience providing guidance, training, or knowledge sharing to stakeholders
  • Primarily located within the Baltics (preferred candidate location)
