This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Room Nurse at SBH Health System located in Bronx, NY. Emergency Room Nurses are responsible for administering patient care through the emergency and critical care environments, including triage, resuscitation, stabilization, and management of life-threatening episodes. Duties also include assessment and documentation of patient progress and response to treatments.
Preferred Qualifications- Emergency Nursing, Nursing, and Critical Care Medicine skills
- Proficiency in administering emergency medicine, including but not limited to, EKG monitoring, cardiac support, invasive procedures, and respiratory support
- Patient care skills, including assessment and documentation of patient progress and response to treatment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in high-stress environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a team
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Experience working in an Emergency Room or Intensive Care Unit is preferred
