BDA is looking for an experienced Ecommerce Solutions Architect to help lead the future of our ecommerce platforms. This is a high-impact, senior-level opportunity to define technical strategy, lead a talented team, and ensure our ecommerce experience scales with our continued growth.

Yes, we currently operate on Adobe Magento / Adobe Commerce. While it may not be the newest tool in the stack, it's a platform we've invested in, and it plays a central role in our customer experience today. If you’ve worked with it before (or are open to working with it now) and can bring a strategic eye for how ecommerce architecture can evolve over time, we’d love to talk to you.

 

What You’ll Do
You’ll serve as the bridge between big-picture business goals and practical, scalable technology solutions—helping shape the long-term architecture of BDA’s ecommerce presence. You’ll lead cross-functional technical direction and partner closely with product, marketing, and senior leadership to drive performance, innovation, and exceptional user experience.

  • Define and drive the ecommerce technology strategy and roadmap

  • Lead platform architecture for scalability, security, and performance

  • Guide a collaborative team of developers, QA, and designers

  • Translate business goals into clear technical plans

  • Ensure alignment across departments and teams

  • Bring in emerging tools and solutions to modernize and optimize

  • Build systems that support omnichannel experience, personalization, inventory, and analytics

  • Champion best practices in architecture, governance, and process improvement


What You Bring

  • 7+ years in ecommerce architecture and digital strategy

  • Experience with Adobe Magento / Adobe Commerce (or similar platforms)

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, and microservices

  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technical efforts with growth goals

  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A balance of visionary thinking and pragmatic execution

Bonus if you’re certified in Magento, AWS, or enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF).

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
