Department: eCommerce / Parts Operations

Position Summary
The eCommerce Order Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, processing, and fulfilling customer orders received through Shop.Deere.com and other digital sales channels. This role ensures online orders are accurately processed, communicated, and fulfilled in a timely manner while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management
- Monitor Shop.Deere.com orders throughout the day.
- Review incoming orders for accuracy and inventory availability.
- Process customer orders for shipment, pick-up, or transfer.
- Coordinate with dealership locations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Resolve order exceptions, backorders, and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
Customer Communication
- Contact customers regarding order status, substitutions, delays, or questions.
- Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and text communication.
- Proactively follow up on unclaimed or incomplete orders.
- Assist customers with online ordering questions and account issues.
Fulfillment & Shipping
- Coordinate picking, packing, and shipping of eCommerce orders.
- Work with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Generate shipping labels and required documentation.
- Track shipments and address delivery issues when they arise.
- Monitor pick-up orders to ensure they are ready within established service standards.
Performance & Process Improvement
- Track daily order volume and fulfillment performance.
- Monitor key performance metrics including:
- Pickup orders ready within 2 hours
- Shipped orders processed within 24 hours
- Order accuracy
- Customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Assist with testing and implementing new eCommerce processes and tools.
Cross Functional Support
- Collaborate with Parts, Service, Sales, and Customer Contact Center teams.
- Assist with inventory accuracy initiatives impacting online sales.
- Support online promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
- Maintain knowledge of John Deere products, parts, and digital ordering platforms.

- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.

- Experience in eCommerce, order processing, parts operations, or retail fulfillment.
- Knowledge of John Deere equipment and parts.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Experience with shipping and logistics processes.
Success Measures
- Greater than 95% of pickup orders ready within 2 hours.
- Greater than 95% of shipped orders processed within 24 hours.
- High order accuracy rate.
- Positive customer satisfaction feedback.
- Consistent adherence to eCommerce fulfillment procedures.
