OVERVIEW
The E-Commerce Manager is expected to take strong ownership of the overall sales responsibility of the EC team and proactively drive the business forward. This role is responsible for the production and overall management of the online storefront, serving as a key liaison between business and creative teams within the E-Commerce function. Through effective site content, functionality, and online merchandising strategies, this individual will lead efforts to drive conversion and sales growth. They will continuously assess business trends, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions, while also evaluating the competitive landscape to introduce new experiences, assortments, navigation, and technologies that strengthen the e-commerce merchandise strategy and overall business performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Management
- Own sales performance of the e-commerce store by defining and monitoring KPIs, creating relevant reporting, and analyzing site, category, and customer behavior data to identify opportunities and translate insights into concrete business actions that drive sales growth.
- Responsible for site messaging and content, including homepage, features and site marketing messages, ensuring a brand-right tone and alignment with product assortment and selling priorities.
- Oversee the planning and development of the site calendar, including managing tasks, owners, deadlines, content loading, business user testing, and final sign-off prior to launch.
- Collaborate closely with digital operations, marketing, design, copy, buying, editorial, and developers to manage workflows and ensure timely delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
- Present upcoming site content in weekly creative reviews and manage the review and approval process.
- Lead storefront projects and enhancements, partnering with developers and cross-functional teams to improve functionality, user experience, and conversion.
- Partner with E-Commerce buying, creative, and editorial teams to develop special shop concepts, page layouts, navigation, and other solutions that maximize sales and customer experience through a brand-right filter.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to support inventory management aligned with business needs and product assortment strategies.
Third-Party Channel Management
- Manage three third-party channels.
- Analyze sales performance, product trends, and key business data to identify actions needed to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure appropriate inventory management by channel based on sales performance and product-level analysis.
- Work closely with third-party account representatives to plan and execute marketing initiatives that support business growth.

- Bachelors degree
- A minimum of 5 years experience in an digital production or project management role at a leading retailer, brand or digital agency
- Deep understanding of front-end technical concepts
- Deep understanding of the digital project lifecycle, and best practices related to the process
- Detail oriented
- Ability to plan resources effectively, anticipate obstacles and develop solutions
- Ability to understand and communicate online traffic and shopping metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
