The Role

Job Description

Help us build a best-in-class LEGO digital shopper and consumer experience to reach more LEGO fans (kids and adults) in Benelux. Come Play with us!

Please note: This role is based in Brasschaat, Belgium (nearby the Dutch border – Breda). We can offer a local Belgian or Dutch contract depending on the country you are living in.

Core Responsibilities

  • Advise and support on the execution of online activations.

  • Support with project execution and roll out of key initiatives. Bring brand to life through these initiatives directly working with key departments within our selected retailers to build and activate plans across online, mobile, app.

  • Execution of Retail Media (briefing, creation, set up of campaigns, follow up of campaigns and evaluations and recommendations).

  • Reporting and analysis of digital marketing data as well as online retailer data on key customers.

  • Identify emerging eCommerce opportunities and bring them to life for specific accounts.

  • Analyze key competitor actions & strategies and emerging trends in eCommerce.

  • Work with the Benelux sales team to ensure digital execution is an integral part of their overall account plans.

  • Mutual Revenue and Profit Growth: Deliver positive impact on profitability for the LEGO Group and our customers by leading customer initiatives that deliver improved return on investments.

Play your part in our team succeeding

The eCommerce Manager will help develop and implement our commercial strategy. This role is part of the Benelux eCommerce team and will work in very close collaboration with the Senior eCommerce Manager, the Sales and Marketing teams as well as external collaborators (B2B eCom partners and agencies) to deliver a best-in-class LEGO consumer and shopper experience.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive experience (several years) in an eCommerce role in media/digital/web agency or in-house digital department or driving a technology-based start-up business.

  • Ability to work in cross functional teams, experience in project management and/or category management. Agile ways of working would be a plus.

  • Experience in retail marketing in an eCommerce environment and a good understanding of omni-channel and pure play shopper behavior.

  • Very strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with ability to turn data into insights and into action.

  • Excellent planning and time management skills. Curious and passionate about innovation.

  • Proficient in both Dutch and English.
