Why be an Ecommerce Executive at THG?

The Ecommerce Executive - BENELUX will report into the Senior eCommerce Manager BENELUX and will be responsible for executing the country trading plans, overseeing the day-to-day operation and optimisation of the sites to ensure a seamless customer journey. Working with industry experts, you'll be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team striving for ambitious growth across our EU territories. 


As an Ecommerce Executive, you'll:

  • Support the Senior Ecommerce Manager in planning, executing and optimising the regional ecommerce strategy.
  • Works closely with the CRM team to plan, translate and execute CRM campaigns and daily activations.
  • Collaborates with buying, merchandising, and marketing to ensure optimum execution of the trading calendar for the Dutch sites.
  • Is responsible for the management and optimisation of key site KPIs, for example but not limited to Revenue, Profit, Traffic, Conversion, Average Order Value & bounce rate, driving continuous site improvements to reduce barriers to purchase.
  • Uses analytics and our in-house reporting platform to gain a strong understanding of the customer journey to optimise sales, measure performance & define strategy.
  • Provides regular reporting of performance metrics to inform suggested actions to improve performance.
  • Tracks relevant competitor activity to provide constant context on market positioning, informing the trading calendar and strategy.
  • Works collaboratively with peers, leveraging their previous experience by acting as a role model and mentor for more junior executives.


What Skills and Experience Do I Need?

  • Language skills; native Dutch and fluency in English
  • 1+ year of eCommerce trading experience either through work experience, placement or internship (ideal)
  • Would consider a fresh Graduate looking to kick-start their career in Ecommerce
  • Strong command of relevant tools and software e.g. Microsoft office suite (with minimum intermediate Excel skills) and Google Analytics (ideal)
  • SQL advantageous
