Your role at Clorox:

The Ecommerce & Digital Growth Manager ANZ is Clorox's ecommerce subject matter expert and strategic lead, responsible for accelerating digital commerce growth across ANZ. The role drives ecommerce strategy, capability development, and performance optimisation across pureplay and omnichannel customers (including but not limited to Coles, Woolworths AU & NZ) while translating ecommerce insights into actionable recommendations that influence commercial, category, shopper marketing and brand decisions.
As the lead for ecommerce within the ANZ business, this role partners cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities, improve digital shelf performance, optimise shopper conversion, and enhance retail media effectiveness. The role owns the Amazon strategic partnership & commercial deliverables for the Amazon account while also building ecommerce capability across major retail customers.
Success in this role requires strong influencing skills, strategic thinking, commercial acumen and the ability to drive action through data-driven insights.

We are seeking a strategic and commercially focused Ecommerce Leader to drive online growth across Australia and New Zealand. This role will lead ecommerce strategy, digital shelf excellence, Amazon and pureplay partnerships, and capability development across the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and leading the ANZ ecommerce growth strategy, influencing senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Category and Commercial teams.
  • Acting as the ecommerce subject matter expert, translating shopper, digital shelf, retail media and ecommerce data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Driving digital shelf excellence through best-in-class content, search visibility, conversion optimisation and content governance across retailer platforms.
  • Partnering cross-functionally to deliver high-impact digital activations, shopper marketing programs and retail media strategies that accelerate growth.
  • Leading the Amazon business and other pureplay ecommerce partnerships inlcuding P&L ownership, joint business planning, promotional strategy, investment optimisation and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Developing ecommerce measurement frameworks, insights and dashboards to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance.
  • Building ecommerce capability across the organisation by embedding best practices, enhancing digital expertise and championing a data-driven growth mindset.

  • Proven experience in Ecommerce, Digital Commerce, Shopper Marketing, Category Management or Sales within FMCG, Retail or Consumer Goods.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
  • Experience managing Amazon or major ecommerce retail partnerships.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience leveraging ecommerce, retail media and shopper data to drive business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects and delivering profitable growth.

Ecommerce Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Amazon, Woolworths, Coles and other ANZ ecommerce ecosystems.
  • Expertise in digital shelf management, content optimisation, search, ratings & reviews and shopper conversion.
  • Understanding of retail media, shopper activation and ecommerce measurement.
  • 5+ years’ experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, shopper marketing or omnichannel retail environments.
  • Experience with Amazon strongly preferred

Commercial Leadership

  • Strong commercial acumen and customer management experience.
  • Ability to identify profitable growth opportunities and influence strategic decisions.

Analytics & Insights

  • Advanced analytical capability with ability to synthesize multiple data sources into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with ecommerce, shopper, media and retailer performance datasets.

Influencing & Leadership

  • Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
