About The Role:

Aerospace Electronics department designs and produces an extensive range of electronic controllers for aerospace and defense in actuators control domain.

Join us in developing the next generation of aerospace electronics. As a PCB Layout Designer (ECAD Engineer), you will design advanced electronic assemblies for airborne electric motor controllers used in mission-critical aircraft systems.

Your work will include PCB layout development for control, inverter, and power-stage electronics driving medium- and high-power motors and solenoids. You will contribute to products engineered for high-reliability aerospace applications, designed to meet IPC Class 3 standards and operate reliably in harsh environments characterized by temperature extremes, vibration, and EMI exposure.

What You Will Do:
  • Creating layout of complex, multilayer and high density PCBs with use of Mentor Graphics Expedition

  • Cooperation with Schematic Design, Packaging and EMC engineers

  • Preparation of manufacturing data and drawings (Gerber files, BOMs, fabrication and  assembly drawings)

  • Release of manufacturing data in PLM system (Windchill)

  • Cooperation with PCB and PCBA manufacturers (answer to engineering questions, alignment to manufacturing capabilities)

  • Run simulations and analysis of designed layout (Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, etc. – Siemens HyperLynx).

  • Maintenance of components library (creation of components symbols and footprints in Mentor Graphics Library Manager)

  • Acting as liaison between sourcing, supply chain, design and manufacturing teams

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to support medium to large sized projects

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in electronics or related.
