In this role, you will be instrumental in Seats & Restraints Department, using your skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control, VINFAST's suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.
Lead Design and Release Engineering:
-Oversee all development aspects to ensure compliance with VINFAST Engineering Requirements and adherence to product development timelines.
-Drive innovation and ensure the integration of cutting-edge technologies in seat and restraint systems.
Seats and Restraints Development Leadership:
-Lead the seats and restraints development team to deliver a best-in-class driving experience
-Ensure the team meets all engineering requirements and development milestones.
Team Supervision:
-Manage and mentor a team of 2-5 senior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
-Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
Global Project Stakeholder Management:
-Navigate geographical challenges and collaborate effectively with global project stakeholders.
-Ensure seamless communication and coordination across diverse teams and locations.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
13+ years of experience in the automotive or related industries.
Proven experience in design and release engineering.
Extensive experience in various areas of seats and restraints development.
Proficiency in CAD, specifically CATIA
