Position Summary
Seller Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with newly onboarded enterprise sellers while leading strategic seller education initiatives through webinars and offline seminars. This role focuses on accelerating enterprise seller growth through consultative partnership and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
#1. Enterprise Seller Partnership:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with newly onboarded enterprise sellers through regular business reviews and strategic consultations
- Develop comprehensive onboarding strategies for enterprise sellers to ensure successful platform integration and early growth
- Analyse seller business data to identify growth opportunities and potential risks
- Create and execute customized business plans to help enterprise sellers achieve their growth targets
- Provide advanced platform knowledge and selling strategy consultation
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex seller issues
- Guide sellers through policy and platform changes while ensuring compliance
- Track and analyse seller performance metrics to ensure growth targets are met
#2. Strategic Education Leadership:
- Design and lead seller education programs through webinars and offline seminars
- Create compelling presentation materials and training decks focused on advanced selling strategies
- Organize and execute large-scale seller events and workshops independently
- Develop best practice sharing programs across the seller community
- Investigate and analyse new policy & platform impacts on enterprise sellers
- Lead initiatives to establish and enforce seller best practices
- Leverage internal & external resources to support educational events
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of education initiatives
#3. Communication with eBay Certified Consultants
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with eBay Certified Consultants to enhance seller support
- Effectively negotiate and coordinate with consultants to maximize seller onboarding success
- Align consultant activities with eBay's strategic objectives and seller growth targets
- Facilitate regular knowledge sharing sessions between consultants and enterprise sellers
- Manage consultant relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery to sellers
Position Qualifications
- Been in Seller Account Management for at least 4 years
- Native Japanese
- Business level in English
- Excellent influencing and presentation skills
- Enjoys public speaking; shows genuine interest and enthusiasm in conducting webinars/seminars
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Excellent PPT presentation deck creation skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with enterprise-level clients
- Extensive knowledge of e-commerce industry trends and best practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently
- Consistent track record of high performance and team ranking
- Experience in video editing, basic HTML /SQL knowledge, and familiarity with e-blasting tools will be a plus.

Please note the following when applying for eBay Japan's positions:
- We implement hybrid work: It is mandatory for employees to work 3 days/week on-site. WFH is up to 2 days/week. Full remote work option is not available.
