Invent a greener and more secured mobility, thanks to solutions focusing on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions. We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.
Who We Are
At Valeo, we are integrating the powertrain of tomorrow, where engineering ingenuity meets automated, high-voltage mass manufacturing. Our Czechowice-Dziedzice site is a state-of-the-art multi-product R&D and production hub. To support our growing mass production lines, we are seeking a proactive and analytical System Engineer to serve as the critical technical bridge between platform engineering disciplines and serial production.
What You’ll Do (The Mission)
As a System Engineer for Serial Production, you will be the core technical owner for products in mass production. You will manage system-level defects, drive cross-functional problem solving, and ensure seamless synchronization between plant production lines and platform engineering experts.
Manage System Defects in Production: Act as the primary technical owner for system-level anomalies, end-of-line (EOL) test failures, and field issues arising during mass production.
Bridge Platform & Production: Serve as the main technical point of contact connecting production/manufacturing teams with platform experts across Software (SW), Hardware (HW), Cybersecurity, and System Testing.
Lead System-Level Problem Solving: Drive root-cause analysis for complex multi-disciplinary issues using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, QRQC, 5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone).
Drive Engineering Change Management: Coordinate technical change requests (ECOs/CRs), system re-flashing, software updates, and hardware revisions to ensure smooth implementation on the shop floor without line interruptions.
Oversee System & Diagnostic Analysis: Analyze bus communications (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), diagnostic logs (UDS), and system failure modes to isolate issues to specific HW, SW, or process roots.
Support Production Quality & Continuous Improvement: Partner with plant quality and process teams to optimize test coverage, lower scrap rates, and maintain strict adherence to functional safety and cybersecurity compliance in serial products.
Who You Are
The Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in automotive engineering, ideally within serial production support, system integration, or application/resident engineering.
The Multi-Disciplinary Integrator: Strong foundational knowledge across system domain interfaces—understanding how Software, Hardware, Cybersecurity features, and System Testing interact within embedded automotive components.
The Structured Problem Solver: Proficient in root-cause investigation techniques (8D, QRQC) with a hands-on mindset for analyzing plant failures and diagnostic data (CANalyzer, CANoe, UDS protocol tools).
The Communicator & Facilitator: Excellent technical communication skills, capable of translating complex shop-floor issues into clear technical actions for global platform experts and plant management. Fluent in English.
Why Join Valeo?
High-Impact Serial Engineering: Take direct ownership of high-volume, cutting-edge automotive systems actively rolling off state-of-the-art production lines.
World-Class Facilities: Work in a dynamic R&D and manufacturing hub equipped with advanced diagnostic and validation laboratories.
Comprehensive Benefits Package: Private medical care (Medicover), structured life and health coverage, premium sports/cultural benefit access (Multisport), and excellent site amenities.
Career Growth: Exposure to cross-functional engineering networks, international teams, and ongoing masterclasses with leading automotive experts.
