BGSV – Bosch Global Software Technologies Company Limited (Previous name: RBVH - Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Company Limited) is 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH.
BGSV has started its operations from 19th October, 2010 at E-Town2 in HCMC. This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.
Job Description
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Plans / coordinates / tracks all ISO26262 functional safety activities in the project in the relevant phases
- Provides technical consultation for the project team members
- for the creation of safety concepts
- for the evaluation of Functional Safety Validation and functional safety relevant test cases
- Communicates and represents functional safety topics of the project to the project team members and the customer and if required, to the functional safety-auditors and assessors
- Aligns on planning of all functional safety activities at sub-system level (SW/HW/Components)
- Aligns on functional safety related activities at other technologies or other fields of development
- Recommend necessary solutions to the customer for meeting the safety requirements and safety goals.
- Managing different stakeholders in the relevant areas in order to derive the inputs for the safety case
- Support in tailoring of safety artifacts according to the need of the customer projects
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Major in Computer Engineering/ Electrical-Electronics/ Electronics Telecommunication/Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
- Several years of professional experience in automotive software development or similar areas
- Awareness of Functional Safety Standard (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508) and Product Liability.
- Technical (HW, SW) know-how on the automotive system (Chassis Systems Control & embedded systems)
- Design, coding, and validation experience in the field of automotive system (safety monitoring preferable)
- Ability to foresee and manage risks/risk management.
- Self-motivated, good problem-solving skills
- Good communication in English
- Able to handle requirements beyond SW
It would be big advantage if you have:

- Japanese skills
- Certifications related to Functional Safety (ISO26262) preferred (like TUV, etc.)
