Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst – Level 3 or 4 to join our central region EVM Center of Excellence team. This role is located in our Chandler AZ facility.
This individual will be an integrated partner with the Space sector programs’ Business Management, Schedule Management, and Program Management teams to provide EVM training, development, and implementation.
In this job, you will:
- Serve as a SME by mentoring, coaching and guidance to the Program Management Office (PMO), Control Account Managers (CAMs), cost analysts, and schedule analysts on the proper EVM implementation and execution.
- Develop material and facilitate training sessions as needed to support programs and audiences of all sizes on various EVM topics.
- Provide Program Startup and business process implementation guidance, expertise and leadership (in collaboration with Business and Program Management) through active participation in program baseline development and Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) preparation and execution.
- Conduct and support internal EVM Surveillance Reviews (ISR) to ensure compliance with the EIA-748 EVMS guidelines.
- Support program teams in preparing, executing and closing internal and external EVMS reviews (e.g., Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Internal Audit).
- Review and provide feedback on program, division, sector, and corporate processes and procedures.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with program team, stakeholders, and various customers.
- Apply knowledge of the DCMA data-driven Earned Value Management Systems compliance process and current policy.
- Support programs in compliance with EVM and Program Control Corporate and Sector PrOP.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.
Basic Qualifications:
- Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling.
- Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling.
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong EVMS experience with Cost and Schedule Management skills.
- Working knowledge of EVM and industry standards EIA 748 guidelines.
- Experience with deployment of processes in an EIA-748 compliant Earned Value Management environment.
- Experience with DCMA data-driven surveillance metrics and associated tools and processes.
- Experience with Costpoint/SAP, Deltek Cobra, and MS Project.
- Strong analytical skillset and ability to communicate significance of the results.
- Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- Experience with Deltek CostPoint.
- Experience in a program oversight or auditing role.

Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $106,800.00 - $160,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
