The Early Career Talent Team (ECT) is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent from universities and colleges. Through programs such as summer internships, MECOPs, co-ops, DT Trainee, Dual Studies and more, ECT builds a robust pipeline of entry-level talent who help drive innovation and success within the organization.
The ECT Recruiter will be responsible for owning the recruitment life cycle (identifying, attracting, and assessing talent) for the DTNA Internship Program and execution of the “WeDRIVE” onboarding experience. In addition, this individual will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, delivering high quality and consistent service, and selling DTNA as an employer of choice. The DTNA Internship program is spread across the US in our major hub locations (Portland, Detroit, North & South Carolina).

Position offers a starting salary range of $71,000 - $91,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- “WeDRIVE” New Hire Experience: Create a meaningful experience for new hires by developing and hosting orientation, non-technical trainings, and development workshops. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making improvements as needed.
- Sourcing the best talent: Manage the recruitment process for interns, MECOPs, and co-op students. Uses an understanding of talent markets and complex candidate profiles, as well as relationships with talent pools and communities, to identify, secure, and/or develop candidates for immediate and near-future needs and pipelines. Develops a pipeline that generates strategic and differentiated candidates to meet the future talent needs of the business. Serve as the main TA contact for DTNA Intern Program hires, and own MECOP program management. May support intern conversions if needed.
- Managing customer relationships: Collaboration and open communication with hiring managers and HRBPs during the interview process. Work directly with the Recruiting Partnership and University Lead at maintaining customer relationships and adjusting based on manager input and direct feedback. Providing timely responses to all inquiries; internal and external. Ability to communicate program strategy and guidelines to key stakeholders in the business.
- Company Ambassador: Representing and selling DTNA to candidates and college campuses through the knowledge of the overall organization. Maintain and build relationships with key constituents, and various student organizations on college campuses. Also responsible for developing and implementing intern outreach through campaigns. Work to initiate relationships with niche student organizations and affinity groups to ensure we are achieving our outreach and hiring objectives.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college required OR 4+ years of relevant Recruiting experience in lieu of degree required
- An attached resume is required
- Up to 25% of travel during peak times
- Ability to travel to college campuses for various recruiting events (meet & greets, information sessions, career fairs)
- Previous experience recruiting talent in technical and non-technical areas
- Ability to work in an office and remote environment.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, relationship building, multi-tasking, organizational, presentation, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience establishing customer relationships and a track record of excellent customer satisfaction
- Ability to present in front of large groups (Executives, Managers, HR, Interns, & employees)
- Experience with leading and planning meetings & events from initial sign-up to on-site management (or virtual facilitation)
- Ability to think creatively with an eye toward the future
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- 2+ years of experience highly preferred
- Experience with tools and technology including an Applicant Tracking System preferred (Workday)
- Strong MS Office Suites skills
- Start-up mentality – go getter and open to thinking outside of the box
