Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a part-time opportunity for the position of Eagle Connections Mentor with Department. We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.

What You’ll Do
The Eagle Connections Mentor, is a Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Program (FPCTP) for students with intellectual disabilities. The program follows the mission of TSC and provides a course of study that includes academic enrichment, socialization, and personal and career development designed to promote employment and independence. In order to support students, Eagle Connections relies on mentors, who act as positive role models for the students and help them navigate new responsibilities that come with being a college student. Mentors report to the Eagle Connections Program Coordinator. The mentoring component of the program is also approved through the College Reading and Learning Association, following the standards for peer educators.

Hours: Up to 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday
