Valmet Technologies Private Limited is seeking an experienced E3D Engineer specializing in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (EI&C)
design. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing 3D models and associated documentation for EI&C systems within
industrial projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integration.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 3D models of EI&C equipment, cable trays, conduits, and supports using E3D software.
Generate detailed 2D drawings, including wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts, and installation details, extracted from the E3D
model.
Perform clash detection and interference checks to ensure optimal equipment placement and cable routing.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, civil) to integrate EI&C designs seamlessly into the overall plant model.
Prepare Bills of Material (BOMs) and material take-offs for EI&C components.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize EI&C solutions.
Support project execution by responding to technical queries and providing clarifications during construction and commissioning phases.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure proper version control.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EI&C design within an industrial environment, preferably in pulp and paper, energy, or similar heavy
industries.
Proficiency in AVEVA E3D (formerly PDMS) software with a strong focus on Electrical, Instrumentation, and Cable Routing modules.
Solid understanding of electrical power distribution, instrumentation principles, control systems, and fieldbus technologies.
Experience with international engineering standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, NEC).
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control narratives.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
