Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled E2E Solution Architect with Telecoms billing experience to join our team for a large project we have in Sydney. In this role, you will be the driver for the solution architecture for this project, managing every stage of the design from initial development through to final delivery. A core part of your responsibility will involve designing new developments and enhancements. You will also be responsible for aligning solutions across various IT domains, ensuring their smooth end-to-end operability in line with our broader IT strategic standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects conform to these strategic roadmaps. Your expertise will be vital for the many applications within the Core domain, and you will be expected to collaborate and design solutions that integrate seamlessly across other IT and network domains.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Telco industry. This background is essential for navigating the unique challenges and requirements, ensuring that all architectural designs are both technically sound and strategically aligned with industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and developing end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Expertise in payments and payment data technologies, with a deep understanding of enterprise and core domain strategies.
- Ability to review requirements, ensure system functionalities are future-proofed, and align with industry best practices for cyber security and operational resilience.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze the impact of change requests and provide recommendations.
- Proficiency in managing dependencies between application components, setting design goals, and ensuring quality of design and operational control characteristics.
- Experience in documenting architecture decisions, communicating with stakeholders, and managing risk identification and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with working in or on Telecoms environments/projects
