PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Cluster Operations Leadership

  • Lead and manage multi-site ETON operations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and on-stream guarantees
  • Drive excellence in EH&S, Quality, and Operational Discipline to achieve best-in-class performance, with a target of zero injuries and zero supply interruptions
  • Ensure effective planning and execution of maintenance activities in coordination with Functional Engineering (FE) and Central Maintenance (CM) under SAP PM systems.

2. Interface & Coordination

  • Coordinate with Asset Team, Operational Excellence, Regional Functional Engineering, and PPE teams
  • Ensure alignment between operations and commercial strategy, work closely with Asset Team and Project Development Engineering to identify and win expansion and growth opportunities.
  • Closely interface with Business, PPE, FE/CM & Supply Chain on plant productivity projects and plant operation reliability and safety performance to ensure our competitiveness in the marketplace.
  • Serve as SPOC with government authorities on plant related matters, coordinate internal resources to provide timely feedback and maintain corporate image.    

3. Customer Management

  • Act as SPOC for key customers, meet customers’ high-level people on a routine basis, maintain professional relations with customers, and understand and support customers’ operational and growth requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations and ensure timely and effective issue resolution
  • Build strong customer relationships at both operational and management levels.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction in safety, reliability, and quality.

4. Organization Development

  • Build and develop high-performing multi-site operation teams, and set up solid infrastructure to support the demand of Reliability and Safety
  • Develop and retain high-performing operations talent, strengthening leadership capability, accountability, and team effectiveness. .
  • Ensure talent pipeline readiness for high reliability site ops team

5. Operational Excellence & Performance

  • Actively participate in the ETON COP meeting and implement the best practices related to meeting requirements
  • Drive KPI achievement across all sites in cluster (safety, reliability, cost, efficiency)
  • Benchmark performance across sites in cluster and implement continuous improvements
  • Lead productivity and cost optimization initiatives across sites in cluster

6. Cross-Site Synergy & Knowledge Sharing

  • Initiate and facilitate the use of AP global best practices in EH&S, Ops, and Engineering in ETON plant
  • Standardize operating procedures and engineering approaches
  • Promote digital/automation adoption, for example, AI tools

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related disciplines)
  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in electronic gases, Air Separation Units (ASU), or semiconductor-related industries, including 6–8 years in leadership roles with direct supervisory accountability
  • Proven track record in managing multi-site or complex operations, with demonstrated ability to drive consistency and performance across geographically dispersed assets
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to effectively influence and manage stakeholders across functions and levels
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
  • Solid technical expertise and in-depth understanding of ETON processes, systems, and operational practices
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills; fluency in English is required

Skills Required
