Onsite – Baguio City, PHJob Description:
- Maintain accurate regulatory data, inspection evidence, compliance calendars, reports, training records and closure documentation.
- Support site compliance with OSH program, chemical safety, process safety, construction safety and emergency response requirements.
- Identify hazards and environmental aspects, evaluate risk, recommend controls, and verify implementation with process owners.
- Prepare, review or support DOLE, PEZA and internal EHS reporting according to assigned authority and signatory limits.
- Lead 6-8 compliance projects, develop procedures/training materials, and independently monitor process-owner compliance.
- Create or support EHS communication and training for employees, contractors, service providers and visitors.
- Participate in internal/external audits, agency inspections, incident investigations and corrective/preventive action tracking.
- Support spill, chemical, safety and environmental emergency response within training, medical clearance and authorization limits.
- Maintain personal competence and required certifications/training and escalate compliance risks promptly.
Requirements
- Education: BS degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical , Electrical, Safety, or related technical discipline.
- Experience: 7 years progressive EHS compliance, safety engineering, regulatory reporting, risk assessment, auditing, or management-system implementation experience.
- Demonstrated industry experience and technical expertise in Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) and Industrial Ventilation / Airborne Exposure Controls in high-risk or manufacturing environments.
- Expert-level understanding of the Fire Code of the Philippines, National Building Code, and international standards like NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and Philippine OSH Standards.
- Proven experience drafting and executing scale-appropriate Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)
- Exceptional command presence; ability to remain calm, direct operations, and make critical decisions under high-stress emergency conditions.
- Strong training and facilitation skills to effectively upskill the Emergency Response Teams and educate the wider workforce.
- Certification and training: At least DOLE SO3; OSH Practitioner accreditation preferred but not required.
- Technical / functional capability: Regulatory reports, compliance assessments, HIRAC/JSA, permit conditions, management-system procedures, training content, audit closure, agency audit participation, emergency response support.
- Behavioral competencies: Regulatory interpretation, technical writing, data analytics, audit prioritization, stakeholder influence, independent judgment, training delivery, emergency decision support.
Skills Required
