By leveraging our real estate, development expertise, and renewable energy capabilities, we are building a large-scale, turnkey EV charging business to enable clean logistics. The European Prologis Mobility team operates like a dynamic start-up, developing an EV charging network in 12 European countries.
Your Role: Operations Manager Europe
As Deployment Manager within our European Mobility team, you will manage the deployment of our charging infrastructure in France. Focus is on our Workplace Charging program, which aims to equip over 100 distribution centers of charging facilities for passenger cars. Your task will be to plan and manage the rollout, take care of smooth alignment with our customers and local teams, and to manage suppliers. You will report to the Director of Project Development & Execution in Europe and will work very closely with our team of real estate experts in France.
Main tasks:
- Project Management and Deployment planning, responsible for scoping, budgeting and milestone planning for individual charging sites and larger multi-site rollout programs.
- Highly customer focused: Prologis’ biggest priority is customer (tenant) satisfaction. Full alignment required with tenants in design and execution, to minimize disturbances and maximize satisfaction.
- Ensuring on-time deployment, with high-quality and within-budget delivery.
- Managing our selected partners for engineering, permitting, electricity supply, civil works, electrical work, and commissioning.
- Approve charging site designs, ensuring alignment with Prologis blueprints for charging hubs, and adherence to local technical codes
- Organizing best quotes, granting projects to our selected EPC partners
- Ensure all necessary permitting and grid connection processes are executed
- Coordination and execution of potential subsidy applications.
- Ensure correct application of quality and safety standards, including by all external contractors
- Ensure complete and high-quality commissioning, incl. acceptance documentation and complete documentation stored in the appropriate Prologis systems.
- Continuous monitoring and transparent reporting on timing, budget and challenges
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders, incl. Tenants and suppliers. With smooth embedding in the local Prologis country organization.
Key requirements
- Experience in E-Mobility and in infrastructure projects
- Project management experience
- Great communication skills
- Languages: fluent in French, professional working proficiency in English
